'The malligai' or the jasmine flower deceives the eyes with its fragility yet holds attention, like a lingering fragrance, much after the flower itself has withered away. Can a small, white, pristine blossom of elegance, 'the malligai' be perceived beyond it's virtue as an accessory to be a significant symbol?
